Citrus County is pleased to announce the reopening of the Gym at the Central Ridge Community Center, 77 Civic Circle, Beverly Hills.
The gym will reopen on Wednesday, May 20, 2020, by appointment only. Please call 352-746-4882 to schedule your time slot.
The gym will be scheduling 45-minute time slots between the hours of 8:30am and 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. Staff will be sanitizing equipment between timed sessions. There will be a maximum of 10 people allowed per time slot.
Federal and State social distancing/gathering guidelines remain in place. Social distancing of six feet is necessary to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Staying physically active is one of the best ways to keep your mind and body healthy; however, we must do it safely.
Let’s do it right – The CDC, as a reminder, encourages reducing the spread of respiratory illnesses by practicing everyday preventative actions, including:
- Stay at least 6 feet away from others (“social distancing”) and take other steps to prevent COVID-19
- If you are sick or were recently exposed to COVID-19 STAY HOME
- Other programs at the Community Center continue to be temporarily on hold.
New monthly gym passes are $10.00 per person. Please apply for your pass at the Parks and Recreation Administration Office at 2804 W. Marc Knighton Ct., Lecanto.
