UF/IFAS Extension Offers Library Master Gardener Workshops in May

Citrus County UF/IFAS Extension will host a series of Master Gardener seminars in May on the topic of “Patio Plants.”
Porches, patios, and entryways are great places to use plants to express your taste and individuality. “Thriller, filler, spiller” is the mantra for container gardening, but individual plants also provide appeal – especially when viewed from a short distance. The workshops will identify plants suitable for patios or anywhere space may be limited.
Workshops will be held at 1:00pm on the following dates:
Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at Floral City Library
Monday, May 23, 2022, at Coastal Region Library (Crystal River)
Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at Homosassa Public Library
A virtual presentation will also be available on Monday, May 23, 2022, at 1:00pm. Registration is required: https://ccufflprogram.eventbrite.com.
