Citrus County Fire Rescue holds Pinning Ceremony

Firefighters that were honored and recognized at this event were Deputy Chief Martin Giles, Chief of Training Greg Ellis, Driver Engineer Matthew Campbell, and Fire Chief Craig Stevens.

Citrus County Fire Rescue held a Pinning Ceremony on Friday, June 15 at the Government Building in Lecanto for four firefighters and their friends and family members.

The Pinning Ceremony is a traditional celebration of Fire Rescue, and a rite of passage when moving up in the ranks.

Firefighters that were honored and recognized at this event were Deputy Chief Martin Giles, Chief of Training Greg Ellis, Driver Engineer Matthew Campbell, and there was a surprise Pinning for Fire Chief Craig Stevens.
