Six arrested in meth investigation

Citrus County deputies on Friday arrested six suspects, following a search warrant in Beverly Hills.

The Sheriff's Office served the warrant at about 2 p.m. at 15 Taft St., after a weeks-long investigation of activity at the home by Citrus County detectives.

Four arrested in Beverly Hills on drug charges

Four people were arrested on Thursday morning in Beverly Hills on drug charges.

They were Kimberly Blom, 25; Michael Blom, 31; Patricia Blom, 52, and Marc Hunt, 34.

Tthe Citrus County Sheriff's Office conducted a search warrant at 34 South Jeffery St. in Beverly Hills after detectives received multiple complaints of drug activity at the house. The CCSO said the residence has been a problem in the neighborhood for some time, and has become a constant thorn in the side of the community.

Two arrested during SWAT drug search

The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team served a search warrant for drugs on Friday at 9 S. Desoto Street in Beverly Hills.

This is the second drug search warrant investigation at the house in the past three months, the Sheriff's Office said.

The resident of the home, Terry Gaitor, 44 of Beverly Hills, was arrested again Friday morning on drug charges. This after detectives from the Tactical Impact Unit found cocaine, heroin, and instruments used to distribute drugs in the home.

Drugs, guns, money seized in Citrus Springs search

The Citrus County Sheriff's Office Tactical Impact Unit Narcotics Division on Tuesday arrested a man in Citrus Springs after executing a search warrant at a home there.

The TIU served a search warrant at 9909 N. Cherry Lake Drive in Citrus Springs regarding a complaint of ongoing narcotics sales at the home.

Citrus County deputy cleared in 2011 tampon lawsuit

A Citrus County Sheriff's Office female deputy has been cleared in a lawsuit filed by a Dunnellon woman who claimed a the deputy acted improperly during a 2011 strip search.

In July of 2011, a traffic stop was conducted on Leila Tarantino, 38, of Dunnellon after a deputy witnessed her running a stop sign.

Crystal River drug search nets 6 arrests

Six people were arrested on Wednesday following the serving of a search warrant at 8146 North Pine Haven Point, Crystal River.

Citrus County Sheriff's Office detectives had evidence that methamphetamine was being manufactured in the home, the CCSO said.

After detectives searched inside the home, the CCSO said, several items were found that are typically used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine. These included listed chemicals, HcL gas generators and the remnants of "One Pot" meth labs.
