The Florida Water and Pollution Control Operators Association honored Woodard & Curran’s Water Reclamation Facility in Inverness, during their annual award luncheon in Fort Pierce Florida this August.

The facility uses a state-of-the-art Biological Nitrogen Removal process to treat up to 1 million gallons of wastewater daily. This allows the facility to produce, on average, 600,000 gallons of reclaimed water every day, which is then pumped through a three-and-a-half-mile pipe to be used for irrigation at the Inverness Golf and Country Club.

Citrus County Road Maintenance and the construction company worked together to stabilize the incident and return travel to the bridge as quickly as possible.
