NCVC Special Needs Call Down Drill

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), a program of the Nature Coast Volunteer Center (NCVC) is hosting a Special Needs Call-Down Drill.

It will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00am. 

The training exercise is being sponsored in partnership with Citrus County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Management Section.

Animal Shelter closed for Veterans Day

The Citrus County Animal Shelter will be closed on Saturday, November 11 in observance of Veterans Day.

Volunteer center thanks volunteers, sponsors

The Nature Cost Volunteer Center (NCVC) and Retired & Senior Volunteer Program would like to thank all of the volunteers who came out to the Historic Cemetery in Crystal River on Saturday, October 28, 2017 to improve the property by weeding, raking and renewing the mulch around the perimeter of the property.

In total, 47 volunteers were involved in the project.
