Sen. Dean to file bills related to Duke, PSC

State Senator Charlie Dean (R-Inverness) today announced his intention to file two bills related to Duke Energy and the Public Service Commission for the 2015 Legislative Session.

"As I said at my appearance before the Public Service Commission at their hearing on the meter rerouting issue, I am committed to sponsoring legislation to address this issue as well as the ongoing issue of Nuclear Cost Recovery," Dean said.

"Last week, I started to prepare two bills for the 2015 Legislative Session: one will address the meter rerouting issue and the other will put a stop to the idea of Nuclear Cost Recovery.

"I look forward to working with my colleagues in the Florida House of Representatives and the Florida Senate to bring these bills to fruition and to protect our constituents from these practices."

The 2015 Legislative Session convenes on March 3, 2015.
